1st Call for Papers: ISIC 2016

Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to contribute to the Information Seeking in Context: the information behaviour conference (ISIC 2016). It is a biannual Conference devoted to information seeking behaviour and information use. The 2016 Conference will take place in Zadar, Croatia, from September 20 – 23, 2016 and will be organized by the Department of Information Sciences at the University of Zadar.

For the 2016 Conference we shall be particularly interested in papers in any areas that address the connection between information research and information behaviour and practices. Also, analytical, rather than descriptive investigations, will be sought, with strong connections to previous work and to theoretical or conceptual frameworks.

We invite researchers from information science, information management, management science, psychology, social psychology, sociology, information systems, computer science, and other disciplines all contribute to this field of investigation. We also invite doctoral students to submit an application for participation in the Doctoral Workshop held in conjunction with the Conference. Details of the doctoral submission guidelines and format requirements will be released in the second “Call for Papers” in January 2016.

More detailed 1st Call for papers is available in PDF bellow. New, updated 2nd Call for papers has been released in January 2016.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are looking forward to your contribution.
